Yusril: Even Mega Says I'm NOT A Corruptor

Jakarta, Indonesia (News Today) - Former President Megawati Soekarnoputri commented that there was no crime action in policies dealing with Legal Administration System (Sisminbakum) involving the minister in her rule, Yusril Ihza Mahendra. This was exposed by the suspect of Sisminbakum, Yusril Ihza Mahendra.

According to Yusril, the then president said the project was a serious one and set in a cabinet meeting and launched by Megawati. "I also heard from Megawati that it was set in a cabinet meeting. She herself launched it and no corruption act," said Yusril after attending a communal fast breaking ceremony at a hotel in Jakarta on Monday.

Yusril added that Megawati considered him who was a minister of law and human rights at the period and involved in the system was not a corruptor.

"I am not corruptor as stated by district attorney," said Yusril.

Yusril took an example of civic code misintrepeted as criminal law in Indonesia. He mentioned the case of someone who took a loan from a state bank in Indonesia and could not pay back would be considered as a corruptor for causing loss to the country.

"In other countries, the case would be considered as a regular civic code."
