(News Today) - India's Lanco Infratech Ltd. and Indonesia's Bukit Asam will partner each other in a bid for a 600 megawatt power project, the Business Standard reported on its website Friday, citing unnamed sources.
Indonesian state-owned electricity company PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara has asked for bids to develop the project on a build, own and operate model, with a 25-year concession period, the website reported. The project will have a capital cost of around INR35 billion ($751.3 million), it said.
Neither Bukit Asam nor Lanco Infratech replied to e-mails on the subject, the website said.
