Denpasar Bali, Indonesia (News Today) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono on Tuesday morning arrived in East Nusa Tenggara (NTB) where he is scheduled to launch the "Indonesia Free from Rolling Power Cut" program. SBY arrived in Selaparang Mataram Airport at 10.13 local time after taking a 19-minute flight from Ngurah Rai Airport, Denpasar
The president left Depasar’s Ngurah Rai airport at 9.30 local time. He was accompanied by Mrs Ani Yudhoyono, Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Darwin Z Saleh, Chief People’s Welfare Minister Agung Laksono, Minister/State Secretary Sudi Silalahi, Cabinet Secretary Dipo Alam and Presidential spokesmen Julian A Pasha and Teuku Faizasyah.
NTB Regional Government Spokesman Lalu Moh Faozal said that the Indonesia free from rolling power cut program was initially scheduled to be launched by Vice President Boediono early this month. But it was later canceled, and the president himself would inaugurate it.
"The president’s activities in NTB would be centered at the Bumi Glora Square of the NTB Governor office," he said.
