It's Tough to Raise Indonesian Kids in Such of Atmosphere

(News Today) - Censorship Board as well as Ministry of Women Empowerment and Child Protection are urged to have a stricter surveillance on electronic media exposures. Mass media takes a full responsibility in providing its content so it can contribute to children education.

Chief of Bogor Family Empowerment and Welfare Program Fauziah D Budiaro conveyed her expectation over the role of mass media on Children Party held to commemorate National Children's Day at Bogor City Hall, on Friday. She responded the latest scenes and photographs exposing Krisdayanti and Raul involving in intimate kisses.

"Government should be stricter in taking a surveillance on media content especially the electronic one. Media should be wise in providing its content as well so those kinds of scenes won't be in public as they are obscene to kid," said her.

Judging those kind of media exposures, Fauziah D Budiaro stated that challenges in raising children are getting tougher. She hoped that public figures and celebrities can be role models to public in any activity they do.

The same hope was also stated by Secretary of Bogor City's Child Protection Bureau Elly Marwati.

"I really got shocked seeing the female celebrity got involved in intimate actions with someone else's husband. Don't they realize what they did or don't they have kids?" said her.

"They have to realize that those who watch TV or dowload Internet are not only grown ups but also teenagers."
