Farnborough (News Today) - Russian aircraft maker Sukhoi announced on Monday the sale of 30 Superjet 100s worth 951 million dollars (734 million euros) to Indonesian regional carrier Kartika Airlines. The deal confirms a preliminary 2008 agreement which said Kartika would buy 15 of the jets and possibly 15 more.
“The document sealed today incorporates all 30 aircraft as a firm order with the delivery schedule planned for 2012-2015,” said a joint statement issued at the Farnborough International Airshow near London.
