Balikpapan, Indonesia (News Today) - Not having an Amdal (environmental impact analysis) proof, the construction of the Citra Bukit Indah fancy housing complex had been ordered to stop by commission III of the Balikpapan legislative assembly on Tuesday. Citra Bukit Indah is located on the hilly area of the Bukit Damai Indah residential complext at Jalan MT Haryono.
The fancy houses were being built on 20 hectares of land. The land also bordered with a controlling dam (Bendali III). Citra Bukit Indah is one of the cooperation projects of Ciputra’s raja property in East Kalimantan.
The Balikpapan House Commission III had stopped the building of the complex following an imprompty inspection of the project’s location, joined by officials of the Balikpapan city administration, including members of the environmental agency (BLH), public works officials, development and city planning personnel, and public order offers.
