Call Set September 11 attacks the U.S., Mahathir trigger controversy




Kuala Lumpur - Mahathir Mohamad returned reap the controversy. Former Prime Minister (PM) Malaysia is back into the subject following a statement about the terrorist attacks of 11 September 2001 in the United States (U.S.).

It is said Mahathir, the September 11 attacks that killed about 3 thousand people that the U.S. government had arranged. Suddenly alone, Mahathir's comments reap the pros and cons, even more so in the country.

Councilor Democratic Action Party (DAP), the party long multiracial Malaysia, Lim Kit Siang and even trigger, Mahathir would have created "international incident" between Malaysia and the United States if he is still the Prime Minister of Malaysia.

Meanwhile, interim leader Mosque Youth Council Malaysia Dr Mohd Ariffin nawar have a different view. According to him, despite Mahathir's statements sparked controversy, but should be viewed positively.

"Dr Mahathir is a prominent figure who contributed to the country. While statement triggered a controversy, perhaps it should be taken positively as an incentive for people to dig the truth," said Ariffin.

"He (Mahathir) is known as the man who on the evidence when making statements," he added Mahathir defended, as reported by Malaysian daily, The Star, Friday (22/1/2010).

In a forum in Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday, January 20 and then, Mahathir sparked strong evidence that the September 11 attacks has been set as a pretext to launch an attack against the Muslim world.

"If they can make an avatar they can make everything," said Mahathir. Even the former leader of the country according to neighbor for 22 years, murder for reasons of war is nothing new for the U.S. government.
