Beware of hacking mode 4 Accounts

Jakarta - There are 4 modes burglary customer account should be wary of. Perpetrators use Skimmer, counterfeit hotline sticker attached, clamped ATM card to sell the data.

The first mode, players make way to find an ATM card and credit cards by using the Skimmer. For the PIN, conducted by shadowing with a hidden camera.

The second mode, players perform the way so that the card can be stuck on the inside. Having stuck the card in the ATM is false perpetrator put stickers that said the bank's service hotline at ATM machines. The goal, so that victims can call the number.

"From there, they are calling the hotline that is false it will request data, mother's name, and finally the victim a PIN number," said Edward.

"Once the card is signed, the card can not get out. Well as confusion, players will approach the victim and asked to call 14,000 to a notice that there will be a lift operator and pseudo-request data," he said.

The fourth mode, players sell data to other actors at a price of Rp 1 million.

Biggest Losses

On that occasion, Edward said, reports the most losses in major banks located in Bali, Kalimantan, and Jakarta.
