Sandra Bullock becomes a mom

(News Terupdate) - In public, Sandra Bullock has been through the best and worst of times this year -- from winning her first Oscar to enduring the breakup of her marriage.

In private, she was quietly keeping a joyful secret -- his name is Louis, and he is her newborn son.

"He's just perfect, I can't even describe him any other way," Bullock reveals exclusively in the new issue of PEOPLE, announcing that she is the proud mother of Louis Bardo Bullock, a 3½-month-old boy, born in New Orleans. "It's like he's always been a part of our lives."

Bullock, 45, and husband Jesse James, 41, began the adoption process four years ago and brought Louis home in January but decided to keep the news to themselves until after the Oscars. Their close friends and family -- including James's children Sunny, 6, Jesse Jr., 12, and Chandler, 15 -- were essential in keeping the adoption a secret.

Then, just 10 days after the March 7 Oscars, Bullock and James separated following reports James had cheated. Bullock says she is now adopting as a single parent.

Ohio mom, mystery man found in Miami Beach

(News Terupdate) - A southwestern Ohio mother who went missing over the weekend while on a shopping trip has been found in Florida, police said Thursday.

Xenia police said Tiffany Tehan was found in Miami Beach. She is safe and has been in contact with her family, Capt. Scott Anger said.

"It's been our hope and goal to make sure we bring Tiffany back safely," Anger said, adding that local police and the FBI worked on the case.

"Good old-fashioned police work led to this," he said.

Tehan, a 31-year-old with a 1-year-old daughter, disappeared Saturday morning after leaving the family's home to go shopping for the day.

The Ford Explorer she was driving was found the next day, abandoned and with a flat tire, near a skate park in nearby Kettering, police said.

Police were also looking for a man linked to Tehan.

He was identified as Tre B. Hutcherson, who police said has also been missing for several days. Although Anger didn't discuss Hutcherson, CNN affiliate WHIO-TV in Dayton, Ohio, said he was found safe in Miami Beach as well.

Police said this week that Tehan was seen in surveillance video footage with Hutcherson during March and April at a local convenience store.

He was not someone Tehan's family and friends know, police said. But the video suggests that Tehan may be familiar with him, police suggested.

"Those pictures would indicate that they know each other and ... the information that we received is that they've been seen at that location on multiple occasions," Anger said Tuesday.

Patterson Park Church, where Tehan and her husband are members, had been leading a volunteer search effort for her.
