(News Terupdate) - The Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P) and the Golkar Party demanded the House of Representatives do the voting on the Bank Century case final conclusion on Tuesday.
Originally, the plenary session to vote and to determine the final conclusion is scheduled on Wednesday.
"We also deem that there is no need for each faction to read out its report on the case. So, let's finish this thing today," Golkar's Bambang Soesatyo said during his interruption at a chaotic plenary session in Jakarta on Tuesday.
PDI-P's Ari Bima said that he also felt it would be useless to delay the voting until Wednesday, because it was clear that two different conclusions had been established and needed to be determined as soon as possible.
The chairman of the House inquiry committee on the Bank Century case, Golkar's Idrus Marham, previously said Tuesday that the committee could be able to issue two different conclusions that needed to be voted.
As of now two blocs have been formed within the committee.
One bloc goes in favor of the bailout and is led by President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono's Democratic Party. This bloc is also said to include the National Mandate Part (PAN) and the National Awakening Party (PKB).
Another bloc opposes the bailout and includes the Golkar Party, the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P), the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS), the United Development Party (PPP) and the People's Conscience Party (Hanura).
The Greater Indonesian Movement Party (Gerindra) was originally in the opposition bloc, but according to Democratic Party's Yahya Secawiria, his party is still intensively lobbying Gerindra.
