TV PRESENTER RUBEN TO SING CHILDREN SONG

News Terupdate - Jakarta, Presenter Ruben Onsu plans to team up with a five-year-old boy he met in Palembang to perform a duet.

Ruben and Rahul will sing “Anak Bandel” (Naughty Kid).

“I saw how talented he was, and told him [jokingly] he should go to Jakarta [to try his luck].

Apparently he already lives in Jakarta. And coincidently he’s my junior in the workshop I used to go to,” Ruben said as quoted by kapanlagi.com.

Ruben, who also has a few songs up his sleeves, invited Rahul to join him to sing a children’s song.
Ruben added he enjoyed the magical world of children.

“Because we now know each other, we have developed a certain chemistry,” he said.

Ruben added he hoped Indonesian youth would start appreciating children songs, and sing them again.

Hopefully his duet with Rahul will stimulate songwriters to compose children songs for Indonesian kids too, he said.

“I hope that with our song, children’s song will make a come back.”

Ruben was awarded the most popular reality show presenter in the 2009 Panasonic Awards.
