I Don't Care if Directors Only Want Me for My Body

(News Today) - Kelly Brook has hit back at critics of her Hollywood film debut. The 30-year old model has come under fire for appearing in a bikini in nearly all of her scenes in the horror movie Piranha 3-D.

But Brook said she is happy to show off her figure in the film as she knows her curvy shape will not last.

'If people want to cast me in roles for my body or how I look, I’m just doing to embrace that because that’s not going to be the case forever,' Brook said.

'It doesn’t make me any less important than anyone else in the movie just because I’m in a bikini. That’s just the role I play. It’s as much a part of the story as the piranhas and everything else.'

Brook, who earlier this week was at the Comic-Con festival in San Diego, California, appears alongside porn actress Riley Steele in Piranha.

The pair share a lesbian kiss which was enthusiastically received when a clip of the girl on girl kiss was shown at the festival.

Brook told celebrity website Fox 411 that she is looking forward to her Playboy spread being published.

'I love Playboy, I think it’s such an iconic brand,' she said.

'I was able to produce an amazing photoshoot that I know when I’m old and grey, I can look back on and go, oh my God, that was me when people were interested in seeing me scantily clad.'
