Indonesia,(News Terupdate) - A 5.6-magnitude earthquake struck Maluku on Saturday morning. There was no report of injury or damage.
The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency reported that the quake hit at 9:53 a.m. Jakarta time, centered at 186 kilometers northwest of Saumlaki at 10 kilometers below the surface.
A number of quakes have hit the are in the past few months.
In February, a magnitude 6.8 quake struck 262 kilometers northwest of Saumlaki, but it did not cause any damage.
