59 treated in hospital after clash in North Jakarta




(News Terupdate) - As many as 59 people were treated in Koja hospital on Wednesday following a clash between authorities and local people over a disputed eviction against a cemetery in Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta.

Most of them have bruises and blood on their head and face, kompas.com reported.

It is not known yet whether there are dead casualties or not.

Local people deemed the cemetery called Mbak Priok graveyard as a historical site and vowed to defend it from any eviction plan.
