Oslo - Oslo Embassy within two years managed to boost the number of Norwegian students studying in Bali up 230%. This positive trend is expected to further enhance people to people contact between the two countries.
Throughout the year 2009 the total number of Norwegian students who were sent to Bali to reach 525 people, up 156% from the previous delivery (2008) as many as 336 people or 230% increase in 2007 compared to sending as many as 228 people.
In the first half of 2010 is already documented 533 Norwegian students who will fly to Bali to take pre-university education that must be followed before entering the university level. They were sent by the Gateway College (312 students), Go-Study (97 students), Active Education (88 students) and Kulturakademiet (36 students).
"In Bali, they will study for 1 semester to study philosophy, psychology, cross-cultural communication, cultural psychology, social anthropology, social environment, journalism, management, tourism, sports and Indonesian," First Secretary Fahrani to Pensosbud Febby weekend AFP ago.

Furthermore, students are expected to learn in comfort in Bali and can explore a variety of science from the resources available to support the study in accordance with their field of interest.
Managing Director of Gateway College Ulrika Herlofsen convey his appreciation for the efforts of Oslo Embassy in improving relationships with Gateway College and facilitate ease of issuing visas for the students.
Advanced Herlofsen, a comprehensive debriefing of Indonesia to the students who will study in Bali is very helpful and open the horizons of students. Herlofsen hoped that events like this can continue to be done in the future.
While Director of Education Active Furseth Ola said that Bali is the most favorite destination for students, beating many other cities and enthusiastic students to quickly learn on the Island of the Gods.
