More Services Offered by Indonesia to Malaysia

Kota Kinabalu (News Today) - Indonesia wants to promote its expertise in various fields, especially in the professional sector, in Sabah and other states in Malaysia, Indonesian Consul Rudhito Widagdo said.

He said there were much more services which Indonesia could offer apart from those in the domestic help services, and labour in the construction and plantation sectors.

"There are not many Indonesian professionals in Sabah except for a couple of Indonesian lecturers at the Universiti Malaysia Sabah and teachers at the Kota Kinabalu Indonesian School.

"But we have other professional expertise which we can offer to Sabah, especially in the area of business," he told Bernama here recently.

Indonesian workers make up a bulk of Malaysia’s migrant labour force, with over 200,000 of them are in Sabah.
