(News Today) - Vice President Boediono visited People`s Consultative Assembly (MPR) Speaker Taufiq Kiemas in hospital on Tuesday, saying afterward Taufiq looked well but needed some rest from fatigue due to his many daily activities.
"His face looks bright, but we have to pray for his quick recovery from his illness," the vice president said after seeing Taufiq at the Metropolitan Medical Center (MMC) in the Kuningan area.
Kiemas was admitted to MMC Hospital on Monday to have a lot of rest from his fatigue as a result of his packed daily activities.
The vice president said nothing special was discussed at the meeting with Taufiq Kieamas, except matters related to their friendship.
"He (Kiemas) is my friend and we just chatted as friends. Nothing more," the vice president said, adding that he also met with Kiemas` wife, Megawati Soekarnopurtri and chatted with the former president.
After visiting Taufiq Kiemas, the vice president answered some questions from waiting reporters before leaving the hospital.
